Ghana have opted to play fellow World Cup finalists Togo in an international friendly next month.

The match would be played in London on 15 August.

The Hawks were invited to replace Nigeria who pulled out fixture last week saying they would not be able to raise a team.

The Black Stars, who reached the second round of the 2006 World Cup, are using the match in preparation towards their hosting of the 2008 African Nations Cup.

The Togolese will be using the match as preparation towards the start of the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers which start in September.
