The Ghana Football Association and premier league sponsors, cellular service providers, Onetouch Ghana will launch the 2006 premier league in Accra today.

The Onetouch premier league which kick off August 20 would see sixteen club's vie for the new league trophy.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko would defending the title won last season.

League organizers, the Professional League Board - PLB would release the programme for the league at the launch.

This year's sponsorship package is valued at 3.5 billion cedis with 500 million cedis going to the referees.
