West Ham midfielder Yossi Benayoun has urged manager Alan Pardew to make a move for ghana's John Painstil.
The Hammers are currently scouring the market for reinforcements and have been linked with a host of players - including Fulham's Steed Malbranque.
However, Pardew has been given the heads-up on the Ghana international right back from one of his own - Benayoun.
The Israeli international is fully aware of Painstil's abilities as he plies his trade with Hapoel Tel-Aviv.
Benayoun believes the 25-year-old would fit in well at Upton Park and hopes Pardew will act on his information.
"I told manager Alan Pardew my opinion of Painstil," explained Benayoun to the Daily Mirror.
"I know him well."
