Ghana coach Ratomir Dujkovic says he has equally good players to take over from Michael Essien, who is suspended for the second round match against Brazil on Tuesday.
The Black Stars advanced to the second round in its first World Cup appearance, beating the United States 2-1 Thursday and are now preparing for the game against the Brazilians in Dortmund.
Essien, one of Ghana's biggest stars at the tournament will be sidelined for the second round because of two yellow cards. "We have guys to replace him," Dujkovic said.
"Sulley Muntari and Asamoah Gyan will be back and they are great players."
Ghana captain, Stephen Appiah says the Chelsea player would be missed on Tuesday.
"Essien is one of the guarantee players in the team. We are going to miss him and I'm very sad he's going to miss the game against Brazil," Appiah said.
The Black Stars returned to training in Wurzburg this Friday morning after Thursday’s 2-1 victory over the United States.
Ghana also defeated the Czech Republic after an opening loss to Italy in Group E.
