Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Kingston is second only to Shaka Hislop of Trinidad and Tobago in the best goalkeeper ratings after the first round of group matches at the Germany 2006 World Cup finals.

Hislop leads the list of best 10 best goalkeepers at the end of the first round on 12 points.

Richard Kingston earned 10 points from FIFA’s technical committee in charge of the ratings.

Kingston was not picked for Ghana’s campaign in the 2006 African Cup of Nations, but broke into the first team for the World Cup ahead of Sammy Adjei following impressive performances in the pre-world cup preparatory matches.

Costa Rica goalkeeper Jose Porras is third with 10 points and Poland goalkeeper Artur Boruc is fourth on 8 points.

Angola’s Joa Ricardo completes the list of best five with six points.
