Ghana coach, Ratomir Dujkovic is calling for total support for the Black Stars as they get set for their World Cup bow on Monday against Italy’s Azzurri in Hannover.
The Group E opener would be Ghana, who are making their tournament debut’s first game at the World Cup.
Dujkovic who is confident of securing a semifinal berth was optimistic about his sides chances after Ghana’s last training session in Wurzburg Saturday evening before their trip to Hannover on Sunday.
The Serbian coach likens the Black Stars’ last training session before their game against Italy to preparations before Ghana’s last World Cup qualifying game against Cape Verde in Praia.
“The approach is important like the game in Praia.
“I have lots of confidence in the team and I must say, I’m satisfied with everything here (training).
“The team needs the support of all Ghanaians for the game against Italy.
"This is a great team who have done a good job and everybody would have to give them support. They are the team for the future.”
