Ghana defender, Habib Mohammed has undergone tests to find out the extent of his knee injury.
Habib suffered a suspected knee ligament damage during Ghana's training session on Sunday.
The 22-year-old might be doubtful for Tuesday's second round clash against Brazil because of injury.
FA spokesman, Randy Abbey has confirmed Habib's injury.
"The injury was very painful for him that is why he has to undergo the tests," he said.
The young defender made a huge impact on his World Cup debut as Ghana swept past the highly-rated Czech Republic 2-0 and impressed in their 2-1 victory over United Sates in Group E.
Meanwhile, Razak Pimpong and Haminu Dramani have recovered from the various knocks that left them unable to train with their colleagues on Friday.
Both players picked injuries during Ghana's last group game against the United States last Thursday.
