Accra Hearts of Oak have completed a double over sworn rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko beating the Porcupine Warriors 1-0 to win the OneTouch Special knockout competition.
A fortnight ago, the Phobians pipped Asante Kotoko to the Top-4 title and today managed to confirm their supremacy over their archrivals at the Len Clay Stadium.
Following a goalless first half, Accra Hearts of Oak started the second half the much better side with the rains setting in.
Kotoko's Ahmed Toure in the second half put the ball in the net but it was however disallowed by referee Solomon Yamoah.
The rains rendered play much difficult but seem to have brought the Phobians luck.
Twenty-one minutes into the half, Eric Gawu got onto the end of an Amankwah Mireku freekick for the only goal that settled the tie.
With seven minutes of added time, Asante Kotoko pressed for the equaliser but Hearts goalkeeper, Laud Quartey proved equal to the task thwarting all their efforts.
