The Confederation of African Football will dispatch an inspection team to Ghana on March 23 to assess the spate of work on infrastructure to be used by the nation for the hosting of the 2008 African Cup of Nations.

It will be the third visit by the inspection team since Ghana won the rights to host the CAN 2008.

With the construction and rehabilitation of the stadia for the tournament underway, the CAF team is expected to focus on other important organizational issues on this visit.

Dr Kofi Amoah is the chairman of the Local Organizing Committee for CAN 2008 is optimistic about the successful hosting of the tournament by Ghana.
