Kumasi Asante Kotoko have secured the last semi final ticket for the OneTouch knockout competition after beating Heart of Lions 2-1 in a replay of their quarterfinal clash at the Kpando Park this afternoon.
The Porcupine Warriors came from a goal down to edge past their rivals in a game that had been postponed twice.
Heart of Lions took the lead in the first half before Asante Kotoko’s Mark Adu Amofa cancelled the lead to end the first half 1-1.
Back from recess, the Porcupine Warriors grabbed the match winner fifteen minutes to regulation time through Ivorian striker, Ahmed Toure.
Toure nodded in from a corner kick to set up Kotoko’s semifinal date with Sekondi Hasaacas.
The other semifinal fixture pits Accra Hearts of Oak against King Faisal.
