Abedi Pele’s Nania FC has signed a 100million cedis sponsorship deal with pharmaceutical company, Medichem Pharmaceuticals Limited.

The deal signed at a press conference today has a cash component as well as covering the medical expenses and treatment of players for the 2006/2007 season.

The club’s founder Abedi Pele expects the new partnership to deal with a chunk of its medical obligations.

The chief executive of Medichem pharmaceuticals, Kwesi Eghan says the obvious lack of support for football at the grassroots level motivated them to partner with Nania FC.
