The epic quarterfinal clash in the OneTouch knockout competition between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Heart of Lions was called off after 25 minutes of action due to rains.
This is the second time the game involving both clubs has been rescheduled.
The match initially scheduled for Wednesday was postponed to Thursday at the instance of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Both clubs would line up for action again on Friday at the same venue, the Kpando Park.
Lions, who enjoyed a greater part of possession in the rained off game had a goal scored by former national under 17 striker, Sadat Bukari disallowed.
A win for either side would send them into the semifinal stage of the competition and join Accra Hearts of Oak, King Faisal and Sekondi Hasaacas.
In yesterday’s games, AshantiGold’s off-season dominance was halted after a 1-0 loss to King Faisal.
In other knockout quarterfinal matches, Sekondi Hasaacas sent Berekum Arsenals crushing out of the competition with a 2-0 defeat at their favourite Gyandu Park.
At the Tema Park, Accra Hearts of Oak continued their fine form in recent weeks, beating Real Sportive 2-1 to secure a place in the semifinals.
