Ghana’s Black Stars have the youngest squad among the 32 participating nations in next month’s World Cup.
The Black Stars squad has an average age of 24.6 years.
They are followed by Switzerland who have an average age of 24.8 years while host nation, German are third with an average age of 26.3 years.
The oldest member of the Black Stars squad is the 30 year-old FC Mainz player, Otto Addo.
Trinidad and Tobago are the oldest side with the average age 28.6 years.
The tournament’s youngest player is England’s Theo Walcott, who is 17 with Ali Boumnijel of Tunisia being the oldest, as he is closing in on his 40th birthday next month.
