Two officials of Hearts of Oak, Francis McCarthy and the club’s administrative manager, Ashford Tetteh Oku left Accra last night to attend a symposium being organised by CAF for the representatives of all the teams that have qualified for the Champions league.
Long time Asante Kotoko official Kwame Amoah Bosompem would represent the Porcupine Warriors at the draw in Egypt.
Ghana is the only country contributing more than one country to the money zone of the Champions league competition.
Hearts are joined by Asante Kotoko who have made it to this stage for the first time since the new format was introduced over a decade ago.
The other teams going into Saturday’s draw are; JS Kabylie (Algeria,) El Ahly (Egypt), Asec Mimosas (Cote D’ivore), Enyimba (Nigeria), CS Sfaxien (Tunisia), and Orlando Pirates of South Africa.
