Ghana's Black Stars are set to take on Turkey in an international friendly today in Bochum.
The team arrived in Germany for the World Cup, the fourth of the 32 finalists to do so.
The Black Stars had been training at Klagenfurt in Austria before arriving on Thursday.
And they are enjoying their status as underdogs in a group which includes Italy, the Czech Republic and the United States.
The Stars trained yesterday evening at the Bochum stadium ahead of the game.
"We have nothing to lose at the World Cup," said Roma defender Samuel Kuffour.
Kuffuor has plenty of experience of Germany having previously played at Bayern Munich.
"It is our first finals and we are hoping to make the second round."
The four-time Africa champions will face Turkey in Bochum on Friday in a warm-up match.
Midfielder Michael Essien will be fit to play today's warm up game.
The Chelsea player had been doubtful after picking up a toe injury in training.
It is the first time that coach Ratomir Dujkovic has been able to select from a full squad.
The Ghanaians kick-off their World Cup Group E campaign against Italy in Hanover on 12 June followed by the Czech Republic in Cologne on 17 June and the United States in Nuremburg on 22 June.
