Kumasi Asante Kotoko would be seeking to book a place in the finals of the OneTouch knockout competition when the take on Sekondi Hasaacas today.
The winner of today's game would play Accra Hearts of Oak in the finals scheduled for Sunday.
The Professional League Board says the knockout semi-final match between Sekondi Hasaacas and Asante Kotoko will be played today as originally planned.
Hasaacas had requested that the match be played on Thursday, which is a public holiday, in order to attract a much larger crowd to the Gyandu Park.
The PLB had informed Kotoko about the request and asked the Porcupine Warriors to indicate their consent or otherwise for the change yesterday.
But the chairman of the PLB, Welbeck Abra- Appiah, told Joy Sports his office had not received response from Kotoko.
Moreover, the PLB says pushing the game to Thursday would effectively lead to a postponement of the final game, scheduled for Sunday.
