Accra Hearts of Oak are sweating the fitness of three key players ahead of their champion’s league eliminator against Etoile du Sahel this weekend.
Midfielders Eric Nyarko and Francis Bossman as well as defender Michael Donkor are yet to recover from various injuries sustained in the run up to Saturday’s crucial tie.
While Eric Nyarko is yet to shrug off a thigh injury sustained during the Top Four clash against Kotoko, Donkor is down with malaria. Francis Bossman is also set for a hernia operation.
Hearts coach Francis Oti Akenten will make a final decision on the availability of the trio on Thursday.
Hearts of Oak expect their Tunisian opponents by noon on Thursday.
The confederation of African Football has appointed South African match officials for Saturday’s game at the Len Clay stadium.
