Black Stars midfielder, Michael Essien scored Chelsea’s third goal in their 3-0 win over Everton yesterday in the English premiership.

The goal was Essien’s second for the English club since his 24 million pound signing from French club, Olympique Lyon at the beginning of the season.

Frank Lampard and Ivorian striker, Didier Drogba had put the Blues ahead.

Essien, arrowed a well-struck shot into the top corner in the 74th minute to move Chelsea within one point of the Premiership title.

Essien had come close to scoring twice but hit the ball wayward from range in the first 20 minutes.
