Leicester's Walkers Stadium has been proposed as the venue for the Black Stars' World Cup warm up game against Jamaica on May 29.

The organisers of the game have proposed Leicster as an alternative venue to London where they have struggled to find a stadium.

With regrassing due to take place at most London venues during the period of the friendly, the organisers see Leicster as the viable choice.

The game will be Ghana’s second preparatory encounter ahead of the World Cup.

The Black Stars will play their first pre-world cup build-up match against 2002 World cup semi-finalists, Turkey on May 26 in Germany.

The final friendly for the Black Stars will be against South Korea on June 4th in Glasgow before opening their world cup campaign on June 12th against Italy.
