Dutch side, Ajax have offered a new deal to Ghanaian born defender, Emmanuel Boakye.

The uncapped Ghanaian defender made his debut this term and has impressed in his four outings for the Amsterdam first team.

The 21-year-old Boakye’s impressive form has been rewarded a two-year contract.

Emmanuel Boakye is the second Ghanaian-born player on the payroll of the Dutch side.

The other player is Jeffrey Sarpong who featured for the Dutch under-17 team in last year’s world championship hosted by Peru.
