Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach E.K Afranie has some injury worries of his own ahead of Sunday’s clash with USCAFOOT of Madagascar in the MTN CAF Champions League.

Forwards Charles Taylor and George Yamoah are doubts for the match due to injuries.

Taylor who played a crucial role in the Easter Monday win over city rivals King Faisal is struggling with a niggling knee problem.

The absence of the pair in the first leg tie threatens to derail the Porcupine Warriors ambitions of a first ever appearance in the group stages of the Champions league since its introduction over a decade ago.

Taylor, a past winner of the Champions league and runner up in the same competition with Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel has vowed to propel Kotoko to the money stage of the competition.

Kotoko welcome the Madagascar club later Thursday.
