Ghana has maintained its position on the FIFA monthly rankings released by football’s governing body on Wednesday.
The Black Stars are still ranked 50th best side in the world and also maintain their 8th place on the African continent.
Ghana missed the opportunity to improve on the World ranking after losing to Mexico in March.
Nigeria is still Africa's best rated team, after retaining 12th place in the global rankings.
Cameroon's Indomitable Lions remain in second place, but the continent's most improved sides are Tunisia and Guinea.
The Carthage Eagles up three places in the rankings to 21st place while Guinea move up four places to 52nd.
The current African Champions Egypt drop one place to 18th position. Brazil still top the world wide log with Ghana’s world cup group opponents, Czech Republic in second place.
Another of Ghana’s world cup opponents, the USA move up one place to fourth position with Italy, dropping two places to 14th place.
