Uncapped Ghanaian striker Fred Benson has returned from injury for Dutch side, Vitesse Arnhem.

Benson was ruled out for weeks last month after picking an ankle injury during a league game.

But the 21-year-old sat on the bench for side, Vitesse Arnhem in yesterday’s league game against Ajax Amsterdam, which Vittese lost 2-1.

Benson is uncapped for Ghana and was recently given a call up by the Dutch under-21 team.

Another Vittese player yet to make a return to full fitness is Ghanaian international, Abubakari Yakubu.

Yakubu has been out of action for a month now.

The 24-year-old midfielder was reported to have torn a muscle in his left thigh.
