Berekum Arsenal’s opponents in the CAF Confederation Cup competition, Petro Atletico have dismissed their Portuguese coach Carlos Alhinho.
The former Portuguese international who was sacked on Thursday, will be replaced by another Portuguese, Carlos Queiros, who bears the same name as Manchester United's assistant manager.
Queiros, another former Angola coach, had been working at Petro's youth academy.
Petro, who embarked on a major pre-season spending spree, are eighth in the league having won only one of their first seven matches.
But they have advanced to the third round of the African Confederation Cup.
Petro take on the Ghanaian side in the third round of the African Confederation Cup.
Arsenal play the first leg at home on April 23 at the Coronation Park in Sunyani before playing the return encounter on May 7 in Luanda.
This is the second sacking in a week involving opponents of Ghanaian sides.
On Wednesday, Accra Hearts of Oak’s CAF Champions League opponents, Etoile Du Sahel dismissed their Bosnian coach Mehmed Bazdarevic.
"The club decided to sack Bazdarevic for many reasons, including the technical strategy he used since his arrival," the club said in a statement.
Etoile remain in the race for a spot in the group stages of the Champions League but would have to Ghana's Hearts of Oak first.
Hearts of Oak host Etoile in the first leg of the third round eliminator at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium on April 22.
