Kumasi Asante Kotoko have wrapped up preparations for the weekend’s continental club assignment with a 2-1 win over Kumasi-based first division side, Kessben FC at the Konongo Park.
Kotoko will seek a win over Mozambican club, Ferroviaro De Maputo, in the African Champions League at the Len Clay stadium on Sunday.
The Porcupine warriors look good to qualify to the next stage of the competition after a goalless draw in the first leg in Maputo a fortnight ago.
After a few trial matches, coach E.K Afranie believes his team is ready for a good outing against Ferroviaro on Sunday.
“We would be coming out victorious and would definitely go through to the next stage of the competition.
“My boys are ready to do battle on Sunday.
“We would have to score more goals and edge Ferroviaro out of the competition.”
