Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko can use the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium for their continental club matches this weekend for a fee of $4,000 each.

AshantiGold, owners of Len Clay have agreed to slash their initial facility user fee of $6,000 after several days of negotiations with the clubs.

Hearts of Oak will play the second leg of their second round eliminator against Ethiopian club St George at the Obuasi venue on Saturday while Asante Kotoko use the pitch on Sunday.

Though the latest $4000 price tag is still considered a bit exorbitant, chief executive officer of AshantiGold, Kudjoe Fianoo, told a local station that, it is the best way the club could find the needed funds to maintain the stadium.
