The vice president of the Ghana Football Association, Fred Pappoe and Black Stars assistant coach, Sellas Tetteh, would today begin inspection of training facilities for the national team in Austria.
The two officials left Accra yesterday for Vienna to commence work as Ghana finalizes plans ahead for the World Cup finals in Germany.
The Black Stars are likely to camp in Austria for the final lap of their pre-World Cup preparations, following a free invitation from the Austrian authorities to the GFA.
During their two-day trip the FA officials would assess the suitability of the training facilities offered for free by the Austrians vis-a-vis the facilities that would be available to the team at their earlier arranged site in Portugal.
Austria, which shares the same border with Germany have similar climatic conditions with the World Cup hosts and seems an attractive camping base.
The Ghana Football Association had earlier selected the Portuguese city of Faro as the camping base for the Black Stars.
