The Professional League Board of the Ghana Football Association are yet to conclude talks with all sixteen premier clubs after a meeting yesterday to finalize discussions on the planned pre-season knockout competition.
The competition, to be sponsored by Ghana Telecom, operators of OneTouch – cellular service provider, is scheduled to kick off early next month when the GHALCA Top Four tournament would still be in session.
But Welbeck Abra-Appiah, chairman of the PLB, told Joy Sports, the knockout has been formatted in a way that ensure that the Top Four clubs join the fray only after the tournament ends.
