The Ghana Football Association has officially announced a new sponsor for the senior national team, the Black Stars.

Continental Commodities Trading Company, locally based importers of rice, have joined the growing list of corporate sponsors supporting Ghana’s preparations for the June World Cup finals.

The company today sealed a 2 billion cedi deal with the Ghana Football Association to become the official ‘Meal Sponsor’ of the Black Stars.

Under the new deal CCTC would provide an annual financial support of $150,00 and 250 bags of rice.

The corporate affairs manager of the company, John Awuni, said the gesture is expected to help restore the confidence in the Black Stars ahead of the World Cup finals.
