Kumasi Asante Kotoko have expressed shock at AshantiGold’s financial demands on clubs for the use of the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
AshantiGold are insisting on a flat rate of $6,000 per club for the use of the Len Clay Stadium by the four Ghanaian clubs playing in continental club competitions.
The club claim they need the money to maintain the pitch and facilities for the clubs impending assignments.
But Jarvis Peprah, acting chief executive officer of Kotoko says the amount is exorbitant.
Mr Peprah told a local station, his club would negotiate a more favourable arrangement with AshantiGold.
