Accra Hearts of Oak are likely to leave for Addis Ababa for this weekend’s continental game without former top dog, Bernard Dong-Bortey.
The player is presently in Nigeria seeking a Ukrainian visa to enable him undergo trials in the Eastern European country.
Apart from Bortey, the Phobians would also have to do without new acquisition, Eric Gawu and Dan Coleman.
Gawu, a 600million signing from King Faisal failed to beat the CAF registration deadline for the champions league competition.
Hearts of Oak are also awaiting the international transfer certificate of Coleman from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ain.
The Phobians play St Georges of Ethiopia in the first leg of the second round eliminator of the champions league.
