Kpando Heart of Lions have set out their targets for the new football season after signing on Belgian coach Hans Van Der Pluym.

The ex-Ashantigold, coach has been given a one year deal by Lions subject to renewal at the end of the season.

Van Der Pluym was dismissed by AshantiGold last season after a string of poor results in his second stint with the club.

The well traveled coach makes a return to the club he brought up from the first division four years ago.

The administrative manager of Heart of Lions, Damali Senyo Cherubim says the club opted for Van Der Pluym due to his exceptional coaching skills.

"Van ensured our qualification to the premiership and we know what he's capable of doing.

"We know he can turn our fortunes around and get us up the table."
