The Black Stars of Ghana may play their scheduled friendly match with Mexico without some regular members of the invited squad.
Local media reports says that Germany-based striker Matthew Amoah, Israeli-based John Paintsil, goalkeeper Sammy Adjei and midfielder Sulley Muntari, all remain doubtful for the match because of complications in visa acquisition.
Muntari was expected to make a return to the team after missing out on the Egypt Nations Cup as a result of injury.
The Ghana Football Association is making frantic efforts to resolve the situation.
The Mexico tie, which marks the beginning of the Stars’ build up to the World Cup, will be played in Dallas next Wednesday.
Head coach Ratomir Dujkovic and the local component of the team will leave Accra on Sunday.
