Accra Hearts of Oak were this afternoon beaten 2-0 by AshantiGold in a special preparatory game played at the Len Clay stadium in Obuasi.

AshantiGold’s youngster Shaibu Yakubu scored both goals for the miners in the first half.

The game formed part of the Phobians preparation for the upcoming African Champions League campaign.

AshantiGold have been relatively on the quiet and hope to step up their pre-season campaign.
