The Ghana Football Association have denied media reports that Black Stars coach Ratomir Dujkovic has been gagged.
A member of the FA’s executive committee, Randy Abbey has described as untrue the publication by a local bi-weekly sports paper that sort to create the impression that Dujkovic has been given orders by the federation not to talk to the media over issues relating to the Black Stars.
According to Randy Abbey, nothing could be far be far from the truth.
“Why would anyone instruct Mr Dujkovic not to talk as though the FA has something to hide. All I can tell you is that the story is untrue,” Randy said.
The Graphic Sports last week reported that the Black Stars Coach Ratomir Dujkovic appeared to have been gagged by his employers, the FA, from making any public statement on the Stars until he is further directed.
According to the paper : “the decision to muffle Doya, according to Graphic Sports Sources, followed threats by the Coach to spill the beans after some officials attempted to pass the buck in the wake of the Stars’ poor performance at the Nations Cup.”
