Kumasi Asante Kotoko would begin their quest for 2006 continental glory tomorrow, when they play Royal Aigle D’chang in a first leg tie in Cameroon.
The Porcupine warriors departed Accra last Wednesday with coach Emmanuel K Afranie very optimistic about his teams chances.
“I am happy with the output of the players during this preparation period,” he said.
Kotoko’s Cameroonian import, Betah Imbola Sanjie, has however warned his colleagues to expect a raw deal from his compatriots.
The game against Aigle club is the first of four games in the elimination round before the group stage of this year’s CAF champion’s league.
