A former Member of Parliament for Techiman South Prince Oduro-Mensah has been appointed as the substantive Chief Executive Officer of the National Sports Council.
He is the first person to occupy the seat in a substantive capacity in 20 years.
All other officers appointed in the past only worked in an acting capacity.
Prince Oduro-Mensah has been handed his official appointment letter from the Public Service Commission and is expected to assume office.
