Real Tamale United have restructured its technical team as part of the new wave of change going through the club.
With Herbert Mensah assuming majority stakes in RTU, several reforms are expected to be undertaken throughout the club’s structure.
Next week, German trainer Peter Vollman arrives to head the technical team with former head coach Mumuni Gamel named one of his assistants.
Sulley Mohammed, coach of Real Sportive will also be one of the German’s assistants.
Vollman comes on the recommendations of former Kotoko and Hearts coach Ernst Middendorp with several years’ experience at handling Bundesliga 2 clubs.
The club’s players are already being put through pre-season physical work by a South African physical instructor in Tamale.
Reports say the club is close to finalising a sponsorship deal with cellular phone manufacturers Nokia.
Plans have already begun to corporate with Nokia to set a youth development academy.
Meanwhile, RTU says it will not appeal the half season ban imposed on Nurudeen Weimah.
The midfielder has been banned for the first half of the season following allegations of match fixing levelled against his club.
Weimah had earlier alleged that RTU players were asked to play a match of convenience against Kotoko at the end of the previous season.
The player however failed to substantiate his claims when he appeared before the disciplinary committee.
