Kumasi Asante Kotoko has postponed the appointment of a Chief Executive till next Friday, February 10.

The Porcupine warriors had earlier indicated that the new club boss would be named tomorrow.

The leading contenders for the position include, the club’s former Accra representative, Jerry Asare, current Interim management team head, Alhaji Njie, Sylvester Owusu Asare - a past chairman, Wiberforce Okyere Darko and George Amoako.

The appointment will be made by the club’s board of directors.

Unlike in the past when the chief executive position was open to all potential applicants, the Asante Kotoko board has decided to conduct a manhunt to appoint the most suitable person for the position.
