The draw for the 2008 African Cup of Nations qualifying campaign has been delayed until later this month because some countries are yet to enter the event.
The Confederation of African Football (Caf) said that the draw, which traditionally takes place during the last days of the preceding finals, will now be conducted on 24 February.
That's the same day as Ahly of Egypt take on Morocco's FAR Rabat in the African Super Cup in Cairo.
Caf general secretary Mustpha Fahmy said a decision still had to be take on the format for the qualifiers and that they were still waiting for entries from some countries, although it has already received 45 entries.
The 2008 finals will be held in Ghana.
Caf used the World Cup qualifiers to decide the 16 finalists for the 2006 tournament in Egypt but the 2008 qualifiers will be run by African football's ruling body.
