Ghana captain Stephen Appiah is carrying a foot injury and is battling to be fit for the crunch Group D game against Zimbabwe in Ismailia.
Coach Ratomir Dujkovic said Sammy Kuffour will be back after missing the Senegal game with a thigh injury.
Zimbabwe, already out of the tournament, are hoping to salvage some pride by securing a win.
Ghana captain Stephen Appiah:
"Ten years ago we would have said that Zimbabwe will be a walk in the park for us. If we underate them they will cause a surprise."
Zimbabwe striker Peter Ndlovu:
"If we win or draw against Ghana, it is a big boost for our pride. We can't expect to get a lot from this tough group which includes Nigeria and Senegal.
"We played football that was good but not good enough but we now have the chance to play for something before we go home."
Kick-off is at 17:00GMT. Match venue: Ismailia Stadium.
