Black Stars midfielder Laryea Kingston has been handed a four-match ban by CAF’s disciplinary board.
Kingston has also been hit with a $1,000 fine by the disciplinary board.
Laryea and Senegalese defender Habib Beye were sent off in the match.
Tempers boiled over after 62 minutes when Beye tangled with Kingston.
The Ghana midfielder fell to the floor holding his face, though replays suggested Beye had only pushed him in the chest.
According to reports, the Ghana Football Association intends to appeal the decision.
