The Black Stars have won their first game in the African Cup of Nations after beating Senegal’s Teranga Lions 1-0.
A first half strike by Matthew Amoah (pictured) in the 13th minute ensured that the Stars still stay in contention for a place in the last eight.
Amoah scored with a brilliant strike from close to the byeline that flew between Senegal's goalkeeper,Tony Sylva and the near post.
Senegal's Habib Beye and the Ghana's Laryea Kingston were sent-off after an off-the-ball altercation.
The next group D game is between Nigeria and Zimbabwe which kicks off at 18:00GMT.
