Kumasi King Faisal has confirmed the release of striker Eric Gawu to join Accra Hearts of Oak for a fee believed to be around 600 million cedis.
Gawu is the latest player to be transferred by Fiasal after the sale of captain Shilla Illiasu to Asante Kotoko.
Three others including Abubakar Yahuza and Prince Antwi have left the country in pursuit of foreign contracts.
Despite the release of the player, Hearts of Oak have an ultimatum to pay the 600 million cedis before the commencement of the league season.
Hearts of Oak Board member Harry Zakour who is in charge of the clubs player transfer and says the poor state of the club’s finances would make it difficult to meet the deadline.
