After a stuttering start against Nigeria, Ghana needs nothing but a win in their next Group D tie to avoid a first round exit.
But in Senegal, the Black Stars face yet another tall order.
Ghana last played Senegal in an international friendly in London in the heat of the World Cup qualifying series and they settled for a draw.
And Senegal captain, Ferdinand Coly is looking forward to another meeting with the Black Stars on a competitive stage.
"I think we have a big chance to win this game. But I have a lot of respect for this team because this is a good team," Coly said.
"If Senegal play the same football, I think we can do something interesting."
Senegal lead Group D with a better goal difference after beating Zimbabwe 2-0 in their opening match on Monday.
A win at the El Masry Stadium on Friday will secure a second round berth for them.
Against the Super Eagles, Ghana adopted an unusual one-man attack and seemed at their wits end in front of goal.
Dujkovic reckons that to progress into the next stage of the tournament, he has to work on the goal scoring ability of his team.
"We need to play better, score goals", he intimated.
We'll try to win these two matches and qualify for the next round," said the Serbian.
