Black Stars coach, Ratomir Dujkovic, says his team need to overcome their ineptitude in front of goal to qualify to the next round of the African Nations Cup.
Ghana suffered a painful lone goal defeat against sworn rivals, Nigeria, to become the third World Cup qualifier to tumble in the opening round of matches at the CAN 2006.
The Black Stars, playing an unusual one-man attack, botched several onslaughts from the Super Eagles until they conceded in the 85th minute.
But they exhibited a side bereft of scoring ideas when it mattered most.
Dujkovic, who prior to the game had predicted a win for the Stars, said, "We can only qualify from our group if we play better against Senegal and Zimbabwe."
"The problem was that we couldn't score goals."
Ghana need a win in their second group match against to enhance their chances of avoiding a first round exit.
And Dujkovic admits it is a difficult task.
However, he remains hopeful that the Black Stars can shake off the Nigeria defeat and impress on Friday.
"Senegal are a good side but I will not change my team too much for that game. We will prepare well and qualify for the quarter finals", said the Serbian.
