Kumasi Asante Kotoko will shift their pre-season preparation into full gear with a four-club tournament in Tanzania next week.

Kotoko leave Ghana tonight for the competition, which kicks off next Tuesday.

Tanzania’s leading clubs, Young Africans and Simbas have been lined to face the Ghanaian champions.

Coach E.K Afranie’s 20-man squad does not include Charles Taylor who has been declared unfit to travel, as well as Torfik Alolo and Mark Adu Amofa.

Kotoko’s director of communications, Jarvis Preprah says the trip will help provide invaluable continental experience.
