With three days to go for the African cup of nations, the various national teams have started arriving in Egypt for the month long competition.
Egypt’s local organising committee have begun welcoming the participating countries.
On Monday, Tunisia became the second team after South Africa to show up for the tournament.
Libya and Senegal are also expected today.
However, Ghana’s group opponents, the Super Eagles have left their arrival date in Egypt very late.
The Nigerians say they will arrive in Egypt on Friday, when the opening ceremony for the competition is well underway.
Ghana’s Black Stars will end their three-week stay in Tunisia today.
The Black Stars leave for Egypt later today after setting up pre-tournament camp in the Tunisian town of Monastir.
Ghana will be based in the Egyptian town of Port Said, where they play both group D opening games against the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Senegal.
Ghana’s last group encounter against Zimbabwe will however be played in Ismailia.
