Ghana’s Black Stars ended build up towards the African Cup of Nations with a second successive defeat in five days.
The Black Stars were beaten 2-0 by the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in Rades today.
The Ghanaians played a much improved game but lost focus in the second half as the Tunisians romped in two goals in the second half.
Tunisians played better and scored first through Anis Ayari in the 60th minute.
Kaies Ghodhbane scored the Carthage Eagles’ second goal in the 73rd minute through a spot kick after Amine Eltaif was fouled in the Ghanaians penalty area by goalkeeper Sammy Adjei.
The Black Stars lost their first friendly 1-0 to Togo. Ghana open their Nations Cup campaign against Group D opponents Nigeria on 23 January before games against Senegal and Zimbabwe.
