Three Kumasi Asante Kotoko players have been dropped from their African cup squad list.
Striker Nasiru Ganni, a huge favorite with the club’s fans last season has been left out of the list together with defenders William Thompson and Kenneth Ababio.
Liberty Professionals striker Kwame Obeng Darko has taken Nasiru Ganni’s place, while Mark Adu Amofa(Real Sportive) and Shilla Illiasu(King Faisal) also make the squad.
The list which was submitted to the Confederation of African football last Monday also includes Charles Taylor, Frank Osei, George Yamoah, Ahmed Toure, Haruna Iddrisu and goalkeeper Eric Nii Baah.
Both Haruna Iddrisu(Nigerian) and Ahmed (Ivorian) will be making their debuts in continental championships in this year’s competition after signing with the Porcupine Warriors this season.
